The Sydney Opera House is located at the center of Australia’s largest city. The building was designed by Danish Architect, Jorn Utzon, and opened in 1973 by Queen Elizabeth II. The opera house plays host to a wide variety of performing arts each year and has become one of the most recognizable buildings in the world. The building design was inspired by bird wings, clouds, shells, walnuts and palm trees.
